Y Mentor Access Portal (YMAP)

YMAP is an IT project that aims to improve the effectiveness of the Y Mentor program by providing web accessible tools to allow program participants to log relevant data regarding the effectiveness of the program. YMAP augments the official Y Mentor Web site in a number of ways:

1. It provides Case Manager a secured web site to manage Y Mentor program and to communicate with the Y Mentor volunteers, including: reviewing candidates, assigning teams, etc
2. It provides stakeholders remote data entry through the web to allow more timely information gathering.
3. Y MAP is also a proof point for BEAM which envisions IT professionals to collaborate with minimal direction and resources to build web applications that benefits humanitarian projects of our community.
