Smarter Cities Class Objective
This class gives an in-depth overview of how sensors are playing an increasingly important part in running a healthcare.
We will use local examples (Rochester) to illustrate the trends and progress being made, as well as point out what future obstacles need to be tackled to make further progress.
The lab part of the class will give learners an hands-on experience how affordable and easy to build smart sensors to monitor body temperature.
Learners will learn about instrumentation scenarios to motivate them to explore other similar opportunities
either by further reading or joining a "turbo" team or "hobbyist" team to implement their own solutions.
